The Ministry of Agriculture of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan (MOA) and the General Secretariat of the Khalifa International Award for Date Palm and Agricultural Innovation ,affiliated with Erth Zayed Philanthropies Foundation, UAE Presidential Courtare, organizing the Seventh Jordan International Date Palm Festival, comes as part of its ongoing efforts to support and develop the date palm sector. The festival will be held in the Jordanian capital, Amman, from the 16th to 18th of December 2025, in collaboration with the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Amman, the Jordan Dates Association (JODA), and the Jordan Dates Cooperative (JDC). The event is also organized in coordination with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the International Center for Agricultural Research in the Dry Areas (ICARDA), the International Center for Biosaline Agriculture (ICBA), the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development (AOAD), the Arab Center for the Studies of Arid Zones and Dry Lands (ACSAD), the Association of Agricultural Research Institutions in the Near East and North Africa (AARINENA), the International Date Palm Global Network (IDPGN), the Mejhoul International Network (MIN), and Date Palm Friends Society (DPFS). As part of its activities, the festival will feature the Jordanian Dates Competition, designed to encourage and honor date growers who produce the finest varieties of Jordanian dates. Participation is open to all date growers, producers, manufacturers, and marketers of dates across the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan

Who Can Participate In The Exhibition?

The Fruitful Palm Farmers In The Hashemite Kingdom Of Jordan And Arab Countries, And Al Majhool Dates Farmers Around The World.

International Companies Manufacturing Equipment And Tools For Palm Dates In General, And Al Majhool Dates In Particular.

Producers And Local Agents Of Production Inputs For Date Production, Including Packaging Companies.

Producers Of Seedlings And Textural Palm Offspring.

Festival Activities

FIRST: DATES EXHIBITION

Dates Exhibition includes about 50 unified-design stands with an area of 3 x 3 (9 m2), each will be equipped with display table, three shelves and two chairs, sockets for electricity, and electricity sockets.

SECOND: SCIENTIFIC SYMPOSIUM

The scientific symposium includes several scientific axes and experiments specializing in Date palm and "Mejhoul” dates in particular. It will be held on the second day of the festival.

THIRD: BUSINESS TO BUSINESS MEETINGS (B TO B)

There will be room for professional and interested farmers and producers of Jordanian dates to hold bilateral meeting with traders and importers of dates from around the world, whom will be guested in particular at the festival.

Introduction:

The Khalifa International Award for Date Palm and Agricultural Innovation works within its strategic objectives to develop the date palm sector and agricultural innovation at the local and international levels by launching and adopting a number of activities, events and competitions to stimulate all parties of the value chain in the date palm and date palm sector and encourage them to create, innovate, research and excel and spread the spirit of fair competition among them. To advance this sector economically, socially and artistically to a level befitting this intangible cultural and human heritage of the palm tree.
