The Ministry of Agriculture of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan (MOA) and the General Secretariat of the Khalifa International Award for Date Palm and Agricultural Innovation ,affiliated with Erth Zayed Philanthropies Foundation, UAE Presidential Courtare, organizing the Seventh Jordan International Date Palm Festival, comes as part of its ongoing efforts to support and develop the date palm sector. The festival will be held in the Jordanian capital, Amman, from the 16th to 18th of December 2025, in collaboration with the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Amman, the Jordan Dates Association (JODA), and the Jordan Dates Cooperative (JDC). The event is also organized in coordination with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the International Center for Agricultural Research in the Dry Areas (ICARDA), the International Center for Biosaline Agriculture (ICBA), the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development (AOAD), the Arab Center for the Studies of Arid Zones and Dry Lands (ACSAD), the Association of Agricultural Research Institutions in the Near East and North Africa (AARINENA), the International Date Palm Global Network (IDPGN), the Mejhoul International Network (MIN), and Date Palm Friends Society (DPFS). As part of its activities, the festival will feature the Jordanian Dates Competition, designed to encourage and honor date growers who produce the finest varieties of Jordanian dates. Participation is open to all date growers, producers, manufacturers, and marketers of dates across the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan

The Khalifa International Award for Date Palm and Agricultural Innovation works within its strategic objectives to develop the date palm sector and agricultural innovation at the local and international levels by launching and adopting a number of activities, events and competitions to stimulate all parties of the value chain in the date palm and date palm sector and encourage them to create, innovate, research and excel and spread the spirit of fair competition among them. To advance this sector economically, socially and artistically to a level befitting this intangible cultural and human heritage of the palm tree.
